"I grew up a "Cul-de-sac brat" playing almost every sport imaginable with all the neighborhood kids until the sun went down and the street lights turned on. Although my passion and primary focus was always in soccer, I enjoyed staying active in any way possible. I still don't really understand how people can run for fun. If there isn't a ball of some kind involved, I feel like I'm doing it wrong. It wasn't until after college that I really took a deep dive into fitness. My best friend and roommate was a health and exercise guru and would try different programming cycles on a regular basis. It was through his strict form corrections and education I was able to really start my fitness journey. I still pick his brain on new concepts and progressive cycles.
I have my CF-L1 with over 8 years of lifting experience. Through KiZE (the most amazing protein bar you'll ever try) I was able to journey through almost all fitness avenues - Barre, Yoga, Spin, Olympic Lifting, HIIT Training, etc. I have a pretty strong grasp on the benefits of all different types of training methods so feel free to ask any questions you have!
Fun fact: one time I met Billy Crystal at a Clippers game and he disappointed me so much so that I haven't watched a Billy Crystal movie since then. That was in 2012.
When It comes to music, I listen to ALMOST everything. In my class you can expect a real strong rap game. I firmly believe that a good Rick Ross grunt can add an extra 5 pounds to your 1-rep max.
The first time I came to Social Mechanics was to introduce the community to our awesome KiZE bars! After coming a few times, sampling the product and trying out the gym, I was hooked to the community, the programming, the coaching, the environment, the amazing food at HG annnnnnnd maybe kinda sorta the general manager. She's kind of cute. And bossy...."
